A games approach to learning

Of Marie Jasinski three main learning preferences for self-directed learners:
1. impulsive learners learn by trial and error
2 reflective learners learn best by reading and researching and then testing their new knowledge, and
3. re-pulsive learners are iterative and they read, play, read and play.
I think I am a mix of 2 and 3 but I don't really like learning serious information this way.
